Nonlinear Optics Group

Using various experimental techniques, materials for electrooptic and nonlinear optical applications are investigated. One of the main topics is the measurement and theoretical or numerical description of optical tensor properties of novel materials. In addition, innovative methods - mainly nondestructive optical procedures - for the characterization of crystals are being developed and employed.
